When 3D was added to Director, it completely changed the Director development scene from 2D to 3D, and PaperVision is also very popular, so there's obviously a demand. Maybe they should just add AS3 to Director, clean up some of its bugs, and do it that way. There's also Unity3D and now 3D in JavaFx, but it all comes down to the install base of users. Users have Flash.</description>
